What dance do we do?

Dance styles rotate each term covering: Street dance, Jazz Dance and Contemporary Dance. Our sessions are based on learning new skills, routines and rhythm and musicality. We do not have exams or extra costings for uniforms. We will work towards small performances that may arise within the community and for parents and carers for students to showcase their skills learnt.

What is Acro?

Acro skills in beginner classes/ younger classes focus on basics in strength and flexibility and building to rolls, cartwheels, handstands and more. The skills are learnt in a safe environment, and no skills and progressed until the student is confident and secure.

Within the older group classes we will be perfecting handstands cartwheels rolls and leading to building these into dance routines, with the possibility of moving to walkovers, aerials and tumbling when the student is ready and when the teacher can safely spot the student.

*During covid and tighter restrictions, teachers are not physically spotting the child, therefore acro sessions will be building on existing skills the children can do confidently alone.

Where are the classes?
